St. Mary's Women's Group meets once a month on a Saturday morning in the Church Hall, usually the 3rd Saturday of the month, starting at 10 am and finishing by 12 noon.
We are a support group for helping women live a Christian life.
Our programme includes coffee/tea and cake with chat to start and this is followed by a speaker or themed activity. We have a special meeting in December for Christmas and in July for the summer.
Some of our meetings during this year have been: a Silent Communion; we have seen photos of an exhibition in Guildford Cathedral called Threads Through Creation (scenes from the bible made from fabric); we have learnt the origins and meanings of London's rhyming nursery rhymes; celebrated the King's coronation; and enjoyed a summertime cream tea.
All women are welcome to join us.
